Four Days in Squamish

Day One
Julia and I drove up on Thursday morning. We started with A Little Testis (5.10b) in Murrin Park.


Then we did a few easier climbs in the same area. Julia lead a run out 5.7/5.8 and I lead some a mixed 5.7 and mixed 5.8.

Day Two
We got up early to do Calculus crack. Julia lead the first two tree pitches:




We got back to camp around 2:30pm and hung out until Destination and Marisa came into town. Then we did most of the Smoke Bluff Connection. I'm on Mosquito (5.8) below:




The third pitch is a 5.10a with an incredibly hard start. I couldn't do the start, but the rest of the climb was an amazing finger crack.




Day Three
I was exhausted on Saturday so Julia and I did a few climbs at the Bluffs while Marisa and Destination did Calculus Crack. I started with the Zip which is a really, really fun 5.10a hand crack.

We finished the day at Shannon Falls and both Julia and Marisa led the classic 5.7 hand crack.





Day Four
Peter and I got up early to do the Exasperator. It was beautiful and hard.

Then we went to Octopus Garden at the Smoke Bluffs and did a couple more cracks.
